U.A.E. partakes 23rd African Union’s Summit

ABU DHABI: U.A.E., is participating in the 23rd African Union Summit (AUS) which is taking place between 20-27 June in Equatorial Guinea’s capital city of Malabo under the theme “Agriculture and Food Security in Africa”.

U.A.E. Ambassador to Ethiopia, and U.A.E. Permanent Representative to AU, Yousef Eisa Al Saberi, led the U.A.E. delegation to the 23rd AU summit.

The AUS meeting is discussing efforts by African Union member countries to increase and improve agricultural production and to ensure their food security.

Participants will also discuss crises, political and economic issues in Africa, including the situation in South Sudan and the Central African Republic.
