UAE condemns terrorist attack in Somalia, Khalifa directs treatment for injured abroad

ABU DHABI, 20th February, 2015 (WAM) — The UAE has strongly denounced the terrorist attack on a hotel in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia, which claimed the lives of 11 persons and injured a large number who are said to be in critical condition.

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan directed sending the injured to receive medical treatment abroad.

The gesture is seen as being within the framework of expressing solidarity with the Somali people in their fight against terrorism and extremism.
