UAE Embassy in Riyadh celebrates UAE’s 43rd National Day.

RIYADH: The UAE Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Mohammed Saeed Mohammed Al Dhaheri, has hosted a reception at Ritz-Carlton Hotel to mark the UAE’s 43rd National Day.

Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, a number of other Saudi princes, officials, heads and members of diplomatic missions in Riyadh, representatives of international organisations, businessmen, intellectuals and local media people attended the reception.

Documentaries played at the event highlighted the UAE’s political, economic and social activity, heritage and modern development and prosperity, and the outstanding and historic relations between the leaders and peoples of the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

The guests lauded the UAE’s notable regional and international stature as one of the world’s most prosperous countries, the economic, cultural, and urban achievements it has made under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, as well as the leaders’ interest in building human resources.

They also expressed their admiration of the UAE’s achievement of high rates of sustainable development and welfare for its people. Documentaries highlighting the UAE’s achievements and progress were played at the event.
