UAE to participate in meeting of the Council of Arab Transport Ministers in Egypt

ABU DHABI, 27th October, 2015 (WAM) — The United Arab Emirates is to participate in the 28th meeting of the Council of Arab Transport Ministers in Alexandria on Wednesday.
Salem Ali al Zaabi, Director-General of the Federal Authority for Land and Marine Transport, is leading the UAE delegation, saying that the goal of the meetings is to develop Arab cooperation in the fields of various transport sectors.
The meeting will discuss developing Arab cooperation in the field of transportation, while also agreeing on joint coordination programmes with specialised Arab organisations, said the academy in a statement on Tuesday.
The academy noted that the session will cover the topics of developing and expanding aerial, maritime and land transportation networks, encourage scientific research in the field and transportation-related industries including railways, airports and ports.
