UAQ Crown Prince receives Director-General of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments

UMM AL QAIWAIN: H.H. Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Qaiwain, today received Dr. Mohammed Mattar Al Kaabi, Director-General of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments, GAIAE, accompanied by Executive Directors and Directors of the Authority’s branches across the country.

H.H. Sheikh Rashid was briefed by the Director-General on the readiness of mosques to receive visitors during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

Sheikh Rashid expressed his satisfaction and appreciation for the efforts of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments in instilling the values of true religion in society and in serving mosques to highlight their status and mission.

Sheikh Rashid listened to a detailed explanation about the efforts of the GAIAE in the Emirate of Umm Al Qaiwain.

Sheikh Rashid commended the keen interest of the wise leadership on Islamic affairs and the efforts of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members, the Rulers of the Emirates, to sponsor and provide great support for the programmes and projects of the General Authority.

The Crown Prince also received a new version of the book “Lessons of Mosques” from the Director-General of the Authority.

The meeting was attended by a number of Sheikhs, along with a number of senior officials.
