UAE announces 1,352 new COVID-19 cases, 506 recoveries, 1 death in last 24 hours

ABU DHABI, The Ministry of Health and Prevention, (MoHAP) announced that it conducted 361,321 additional COVID-19 tests over the past 24 hours, using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment. In a statement, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment. As part of its intensified testing campaign, MoHAP announced 1,352 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 747,909. According to the Ministry, the infected individuals are from various nationalities, are in a stable condition, and receiving the necessary care. MoHAP also announced 1 death due to COVID-19 complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 2,155. 29,515 doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered during past 24 hours: MoHAP

ABU DHABI, The Ministry of Health and Prevention has announced that 29,515 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were given in the past 24 hours. The total number of doses provided up to today stands at 22,431,861 with a rate of vaccine distribution of 226.80 doses per 100 people. This is in line with the Ministry’s plan to provide the COVID-19 vaccine to all members of society and efforts to reach acquired immunity resulting from the vaccination, which will help reduce the number of cases and control the Covid19 virus.   Source: Emirates News Agency
