A Civilian Killed, West Of Kirkuk, An Officer Escapes An Assassination Attempt

KIRKUK, A security source in the province of Kirkuk announced that a civilian was killed by bomb explosion.

A security source said that a bomb exploded in Abdullah al-Yassin village, targeted a civilian vehicle that resulted in the killing of the civilian and wounding his brother, while Daesh militants detonated two other IEDs in front of shops in Al-Mouradia village, of Riyadh district, damaging the shops.

In a related security context, a senior officer of Shuan police station escaped an assassination attempt northwest of Kirkuk with an attack on his way to work.
