A Delegation From KDP, Headed by Barzani, Visits Sulaymaniyah Tomorrow

A senior delegation from the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) headed by Nechirvan Barzani is visiting the city of Sulaymaniyah to hold meetings with the Patriotic Union Of Kurdistan (PUK) and the Change Movement (Gorran) to discuss issues regarding the formation of the new government.

A member of the leadership council of the PUK said in a press statement that “a delegation from the KDP is visiting Sulaymaniyah tomorrow to discuss the formation of the new government for the Kurdistan region and the obstacles that stand in front of its formation. After the talks, we will sign the final agreement between the PUK and KDP on the formation of the government and then the delegation will visit the Change Movement.

For his part, Karwan Hashim, a member of the National Council of the Change Movement said “the KDP will visit on Sunday the change movement in the city of Sulaymaniyah to discuss the latest attempts to form the government,” adding that “the change movement insists on its demands taking into account the interests of the people of the Kurdistan region, because citizens cannot wait to form the new government more than that.
