A Demonstration in the western Hamzah area in Babylon to demand better services and waste removal

Hilla, Dozens of people demonstrated in the western Hamzah, in Babylon, in front of the building of the district council to demand a quick campaign to save the region from the collapse of infrastructure and drowning residential neighborhoods because of rain, and to lift the accumulated waste.

One of the demonstrators told the correspondent of /NINA/ that the area, which has a population of 300 thousand people, suffers from a complete collapse in the infrastructure, where most of the neighborhoods were flooded with rainwater and the accumulation of waste in residential neighborhoods, in addition to ongoing interruptions in the processing of electricity” .

He added that several appeals were submitted to the district council and to the provincial council in Babylon, but without result.”
