ACTIVET announces innovative project to link UAE schools globally

ABU DHABI, Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and vocational education and training (ACTVET), has announced an innovative international project to an elite of UAE schools to talented people around the world.

The project is being organised by the ACTIVET in October 2017 as part of an International competition for specialised skills.

Mubarak Saeed Al Shamsi, Director-General of ACTIVET, said, “The project is part of the centre’s preparations to organise the largest international competition for specialised skills, based on directives from the UAE leadership under President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.”

The efforts made by the centre will contribute to continuing development of scientific and professional qualifications for the nation’s students.

Further details will be revealed during a press conference that will be held next Monday at the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr hotel in Abu Dhabi, he added.
