Ajman Crown Prince briefed on plans and projects of Department of Finance

AJMAN: H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council has met with Sheikh Ahmad bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Ruler’s Representative for Administrative and Financial Affairs and Chairman of the Department of Finance (DoF). During the meeting, Sheikh Ammar was briefed on plans and projects of the Department of Finance during the coming period and among them the most important project of automation of the collection of government revenues in the Emirate of Ajman.

Sheikh Ammar commended the plans, projects and achievements of the Department of finance and issued instructions for taking immediate necessary measures to implement the project of automation of the collection of revenues in the Emirate of Ajman and to coordinate with all the concerned government departments and authorities within the Ajman Vision 2021. .

At the meeting, Sheikh Ahmad presented an explanation on the strategy of the project of automation of government revenue’s collection and its goals, as well as the desired results. The project will include the application of the best practices and global and regional systems in the areas of electronic and smart collection of government revenues.

The project will also provide a unified system for the collection of government revenue in the emirate and issuing unified receipts through various, easy and safe channels and means of payment.

Sheikh Ahmad pointed out that the project will lead to improve the quality of government services provided to clients in a short period of time.

Sheikh Ammar was also briefed on the best practices applied in the fields of electronic and smart collection in the U.A.E. and the extent of the successes achieved in this area.
