Al Ain Zoo offers wildlife adventure for students through Safari educational tours

AL AIN, Al Ain Zoo welcomed 226 students in 2022 to Al Ain Safari with the aim of providing an exceptional learning experience offered by the school programmes team to teach the younger generation about different ecosystems and allow them to explore the variety of wildlife at the safari tour.

During the tour, the Zoo’s team of knowledgeable experts serve as guides throughout the exciting adventure. Students navigate the safari in a special vehicle to witness the different animals, including antelopes, zebras, ostriches, giraffes, and others in their natural habitats.

The students are able to absorb valuable information about the safari ecosystem and its wildlife, raising their awareness of animal conservation and nature preservation as they are informed about the Zoo’s significant initiatives that support this vital cause.

The Giraffe Feeding Experience is one of the most exciting experiences that students look forward to; they get to call the giraffes by name and experience the joy of feeding them, seeing these gentle giants up-close while interacting with them.

The student tours are conducted in Arabic or English, depending on their preference, for grades 1 to 12, as part of the special school trips and seasonal camps offered by Al Ain Zoo to create an interesting educational format for students to discover and learn more through a diversity of techniques that support innovative educational needs.

The tours are designed to help raise participants’ awareness of biodiversity and nature conservation per the Zoo’s mandated objectives.
