Al-Nujaifi discusses with the Jordanian Ambassador bilateral relations and ways to develop them to serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples

BAGHDAD Head of the Iraqi Decision Alliance Osama al-Nujaifi discussed with the Jordanian Ambassador to Iraq Montasser al-Zu’bi the brotherly relations between Iraq and Jordan and ways of developing them to serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples.

A statement from his office said that Al-Nujaifi received in his office the Jordanian Ambassador in Baghdad and discussed the political situation in Iraq and the region, where Al-Nujaifi stressed the importance of Iraq to distance from the conflict between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran, as the stability of Iraq and its renaissance serve the people of the region.

In response to the Ambassador’s inquiry, Al-Nujaifi presented his vision of the Salvation and Development Front to be announced soon. He pointed out that the defense of any oppressed is not in accordance with his sect, but for his right as a citizen.

Al-Nujaifi stressed that the work of the Front will be under the Constitution and the laws in force, and to achieve Iraq a democratic renaissance and a genuine voice to defend the free life of all citizens away from religion, race, sect and region, and uphold the value of citizenship as a university identity.

For his part, the Ambassador affirmed Jordanian support for Iraq and its sincere desire to develop relations in all aspects.
