Al-Sisi arrives in Kuwait to discuss bilateral relations and regional crises

BAGHDAD Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi began a two-day official visit to Kuwait on Saturday evening during which he will hold official talks with Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah.

Informed diplomatic sources said that President al-Sisi will discuss with the Emir of Kuwait the strengthening of bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of developing them in various fields.

The two sides will discuss the latest developments on the regional and international arenas and the crises in Syria, Yemen and Libya, the sources said.

This is Sisi’s third visit to Kuwait since he assumed the presidency in 2014, following a first visit in January 2015, followed by a second visit in May 2017.
