Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani chaired today, Sunday, a meeting devoted to discussing and following up the steps for implementing the unified treasury account, and completing the application of electronic card/POS payment points, as well as discussing the facilities and incentives that can be provided to citizens who use electronic payment in order to encourage them to do so.
Al-Sudani listened to a comprehensive presentation on the measures taken in this path, the rates of progress and requirements, as he stressed the necessity of continuing to hold meetings with technicians and specialists to remove obstacles.
He pointed out that these steps are among the most important financial, banking and economic reform measures, which the government is focusing on as a priority in its program.
