Local and societal circles mourned the Iraqi paratrooper, “Safaa Ramadan Al-Salhi,” who was killed during one of the training jumps at Al-Suwayra Airport in Wasit Governorate.
Al-Salhi died today, Saturday, after the main parachute broke off during landing and the reserve parachute did not open, which led to a horrific fall to the ground as a result of the strong, high descent.
The Iraqi parachutist participated in many skydiving sports tournaments and festivals inside and outside Iraq.
