Baghdad The Bahraini national football team will face its Kuwaiti counterpart, at six o’clock in the evening, today, Friday, at the “Basra International Stadium”, in the third and final round of the group stage, for the third group in the “Gulf 25”.
The Bahrain national team, the defending champion, seeks to achieve the full score in the tournament, after it succeeded in defeating Qatar and the Emirates, while Kuwait revived its chances of qualifying for the second round with a fatal victory in the last round over the UAE national team with a late goal to reach point No. 3 and its victory guarantees its qualification to the semi-finals.
The Bahrain national team enters the confrontation today, with more than one chance to reach the second round, while Kuwait greatly needs to win, to achieve the same goal and get out of complex calculations.
