Dozens of people demonstrated in Basra to demand jobs and an independent governor

Basra, Dozens of people demonstrated in Basra to claim their rights and dissolve the government and provide job opportunities for the unemployed, amid tight security and blocking roads leading to the Basra government building.

The protesters demanded during a rally in front of the local government building to provide jobs for the unemployed and to elect an independent governor not subject to the will of the parties.

They also called for improving services and infrastructure in the areas of the province that are suffering from neglect.

A number of coordinators called through social networking sites to demonstrate today, “under the slogan” Heroes of Basra Revolution ” in front of the building of the government of Basra in the area of Maaqal to restore their rights.
