Dubai Crown Prince attends training of First National Football Team

DUBAI: H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, attended yesterday, at Nad Al Sheba stadium, part of the UAE National Football Team training. The team is camping prior to its match next Wednesday with Uzbekistan National Football Team in qualification run up to the 2015 AFC Asian Cup, Australia. Sheikh Hamdan met the team members and wished them all the best in their upcoming matches.

Sheikh Hamdan also lauded the efforts of the Emirati head coach Mahdi Ali and his team that led the UAE National Team to many achievements.

Yousuf Al Serkal, President of UAE Football Association, braised Sheikh Hamdan’s visit to the UAE National Football Team’s camp, and he said that the visit boosts the team’s spirit and represent’s a huge moral support prior to the team’s trip to Tashkent.
Al Serkal added that we are used to such gesture from His Highness especially while it comes from a renowned athlete that had registered many international sport achievements. The players, coaches and management expressed happiness for Sheikh Hamdan’s visit.
