The Civil Defense in Babylon announced that its teams were able this evening, Sunday, to extinguish a large fire that devoured agricultural lands and orchards in the Hashimiya district, south of Hilla, without casualties.
Civil Defense Media Director Aqeel Abdullah said, “Civil Defense teams were able to extinguish a large fire that devoured agricultural lands and orchards in the Hashimiya District, south of Hilla, without casualties.
He added that the Civil Defense was able to prevent the fire from spreading to citizens’ homes and property, and that the police opened an investigation to find out the causes of the fire.”
