Foreign Minister and his Jordanian counterpart discuss enhancing cooperation and regional situations

Amman, Foreign Minister Mohammad Ali al-Hakim and his Jordanian counterpart Ayman al-Safadi said on Monday that Iraq and Jordan are on a clear path by strengthening their partnership, which was launched on a solid ground of will to consolidate economic and development partnership and political coordination under the direct guidance and follow-up of the leaderships of the two countries.

The two Ministers discussed regional developments and ways of dealing with them to serve Arab interests.

According to a statement by the Jordanian Foreign Ministry said that Al-Safadi and Hakim, chairman of the current session of the Arab League Council, stressed the necessity of activating joint Arab action in facing the issues and challenges facing the nation and threatening security and stability in the region.

Al-Safadi congratulated Al-Hakim on his assumption of the chairmanship of the current session of the Arab League Council at the Ministerial level.
