Foreign Minister meets with Lord Ahmed Wimbledon Secretary of State for Commonwealth Affairs, United Nations at the British Foreign Office

Foreign Minister Mohammed Ali al-Hakim met with Lord Ahmed Wimbledon, Secretary of State for Commonwealth Affairs and the United Nations at the British Foreign Office. The meeting reviewed the progress of bilateral relations between Baghdad and London and means of strengthening them to serve the interests of both countries.

The two sides also stressed the importance of concerted efforts and cooperation to enhance the security and stability of the region, support Iraq in rebuilding the infrastructure of liberated cities and open new horizons for joint cooperation.

This meeting comes within the framework of communication, constant coordination and continuous issues related to regional and international issues of interest to both countries.
