Iran rules out possible war

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif ruled out the possibility of war in the region, saying: “Tehran does not want the conflict, and no country can imagine that it can confront Iran.”

“There will be no war because we do not want war and no one can imagine that it can confront Iran in the region,” Zarif told Iranian official IRNA news agency before concluding his visit to Beijing.

“Trump has officially said that he does not want war, but people around him are pushing for war under the pretext that they want America to be stronger against Iran.”

Zarif said last month that Trump might be drawn into a war with Iran over people such as John Bolton, a US national security adviser who is tough towards Iran.
