Iraq and Iran discuss joint cooperation in the military field and military industries

The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Defense, Jabbar Thujil Al-Haidari, met in his office, at the Ministry’s headquarters, today, Tuesday, the Iranian military attache in Iraq, Brigadier General Majid Qalipour, and his accompanying delegation.

A statement by the Ministry of Defense stated: “The two sides discussed many issues of common interest, including military cooperation in the field of training and military industries, and increasing cooperation in the field of postgraduate studies to include various specializations that contribute to developing the capabilities of the Iraqi army’s personnel.

The Secretary-General praised the depth of bilateral relations between the two neighboring countries and the position of the Islamic Republic in supporting Iraq in its war against terrorism./ End
