Iraq’s Ambassador to New Delhi Meets with Secretary General of Asian-African Organization for Rural Development (AARDO)

After the exchange of thanks and welcome, the Ambassador talked about the importance of the Marshlands to the World Heritage, which is a diverse and rare environment because of its rich flora and fauna as well as it represents a great historical and cultural value, and despite the decision of UNESCO, which included the Marshes in the list of World Heritage, For his part, the Secretary General of ARDO expressed his readiness to send a survey team of experts to the Marshlands in coordination with specialized bodies such as the Korean Rural Development Authority and the International Irrigation Commission.
