Kuwait hosts GCC e-government executive committee

RIYADH: The GCC e-Government executive committee is due to hold its 13th meeting tomorrow in Kuwait. The Committee will discuss several topics related to the development of e-Government services beside the search aspects of the joint cooperation between member states in the development of electronic services, including the adoption of the implementation mechanism of joint initiatives contained in the strategy for e-Government for the GCC. The Committee will also discuss the recommendations of the joint meeting to discuss the overlap between the Ministerial Committee for e-Government and the Ministerial Committee for Communications and Information Technology and the latest developments of the project linking networks of e-Government in the GCC States.

It will also look at a study on the number of modular gates of the official of the GCC member states and discuss the final recommendations of the Third Conference and the final report of the e-Government Award and the preparation for the third meeting of the Ministerial Committee for e-Government in the GCC States. They will raise reports and recommendations made by the Committee to the third meeting of the Ministerial Committee for e-Government which will be held on 23rd of March in Kuwait.
