Kuwait wants to close the file of its missing citizens in Iraq and reveal their fate

Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sabah Khalid al-Hamad al-Sabah confirmed that his country has spared no effort to support the efforts, hoping to know the fate of the missing Kuwaiti nationalities.

During his meeting with representatives of the UN Security Council, the Minister said he appreciated the efforts made by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in seeking to complete its responsibilities to close the case.

Al-Sabah said that the United Nations Mission in Iraq (UNAMI) is making efforts to “assist the Government and the people of Iraq at this important stage in building a promising future, from creating conditions conducive to security and stability in Iraq, to meeting the humanitarian and fundamental needs of the Iraqi people, creating the right ground for recovery and achieving sustainable development and reconstruction.
