WASHINGTON, Sept. 20, 2013 / PRNewswire — LaserLock Technologies (OTCBB: LLTI), a company involved in authenticating products and persons, announced today that it has been selected as a security provider for the social security card of an undisclosed African nation.

“We are excited to announce that our state-of-the-art product Duochrome™ will be incorporated into a social security card for the first time,” said Neil Alpert, Chief Executive Officer. “This advanced security ink will provide an added layer of protection against identity theft and counterfeiting for those citizens who hold it.”

The cards will be produced by American Banknote Corporation (ABnote), LaserLock’s exclusive Duochrome™ plastic card partner.
