Maysan police implement a new security plan

BAGHDAD, The Maysan Police Command has begun implementing a new security plan commensurate with the current security situation.

“The plan adopted new methods to impose order and achieve security,” Police Chief Major General Zafer al-Mohamadawi said, referring to media support by the press family for the work of the security man in Maysan through the transfer of facts and fighting rumors. He appreciated the role of the Journalists Syndicate branch in the province for its continuous cooperation in order to maintain security.

He added that “the plan included the lifting of concrete blocks and the removal of barriers in cooperation with service departments and the participation of all sections and formations of the police leadership,” noting that “the plans for the year 2018 compared to last year in terms of lower crime rate compared to the last year.”
