Mohammed bin Rashid endorses setting up of UAE Medical Board, federal law on food safety and security

ABU DHABI: The Cabinet has endorsed setting up of the UAE National Institute for Medical Specialisations (UAE Medical Board) to develop and upgrade the health sector in the UAE.

Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has said the UAE government takes interest in all proposals from the fields or public.

He added that all the proposals adopted during the recent UAE brainstorming sessions have become part of the Cabinet agenda, adding that the government agencies started to implement all the proposals, following the Cabinet retreat. He cited that the proposal for developing the UAE Medical Board was suggested in the field and endorsed today by the Cabinet to upgrade medical cadres through continuous training in cooperation with the national and international educational institutions.

The remarks were made today during the Cabinet session held here today at the Presidential Palace. The session was attended by H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.
