Mohammed bin Rashid issues Decree on Dubai Supreme Fiscal Committee

DUBAI: U.A.E. Vice President and Prime Minister, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in his capacity as Ruler of Dubai, has issued Decree No 15 of 2014 amending some provisions of Decree No 24 of 2007, concerning the formation of the Supreme Committee of Fiscal Policy in Dubai.

As per Decree No 15, the text of Article 01 of Decree 24 of 2007 has been amended to read: “A permanent committee is formed under the name ‘The Supreme Committee of Fiscal Policy in Dubai’ with Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum as Chairman; the Director-General of the Dubai Ruler’s Court, Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shebani, as Vice Chairman, and with the membership of the Director-General of the Department of Finance in Dubai, Abdul Rahman Al Saleh, the CEO and Managing Director of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, and Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Governor, Essa Kazim.

The decree is effective from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
