Mohammed bin Rashid meets with Chief Justice of DIFC Courts

DUBAI: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, has met with Chief Justice of the DIFC Courts, Michael Hwang, in the Dubai International Financial Centre, DIFC. Also present were H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of DIFC.

Sheikh Mohammed was briefed by Hwang on DIFC’s most important achievements, as detailed in the annual report for 2013, which was handed over to His Highness Sheikh Maktoum, in his capacity as the Chairman of the Centre.

Chief Justice of the DIFC Courts outlined to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed the report’s most important titles; most notably the signing of important agreements between the courts and many of the major business centres around the world, which has contributed to strengthening the position of the courts and the scope of its global presence.
