Mohammed bin Zayed receives French official

Abu Dhabi: His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received today at Emirates Palace Pierre Sellal, Secretary General of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Personal Representative of the French President for Strategic Dialogue.

Sheikh Mohammed welcomed the guest, lauding the distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries. He added that the UAE and France have joint projects in the areas of education and culture, such as University of Sorbonne and Louvre Museum.

He stressed the need for looking for more cooperation opportunities to bolster the friendship ties.

For his part, the French official lauded the initiatives and cultural events being hosted by Abu Dhabi, among others, Abu Dhabi Art, which he visited today.

Sellal said his country is keen on further developing the cooperation ties to reflect joint interest of the two countries.

The two sides discussed the issues of mutual interest and the latest regional and international developments.

The meeting was attended by Khaldoun Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive affairs Authority, Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court and French Ambassador to UAE Alan Azwaw.
