Next year … 10 thousand barrels of oil at preferential prices from Iraq to Jordan

BAGHDAD – The Jordanian government has announced that it will receive 10,000 barrels of oil per day at preferential prices from Iraq, which will be set during the first quarter of next year.

“The technical committees will determine the price of oil for Jordan, which will be obtained within the framework of the agreement of the Iraqi-Jordanian oil pipeline during the first quarter of next year,” Jordanian Minister of Industry and Trade Tariq Hamouri said.

“This amount constitutes 7 percent of the daily consumption of Jordan, which is about 150 thousand barrels,” Hamouri said.
