Niger President calls on Saudi businessmen to invest in energy, transport, agriculture sectors in his country

RIYADH, President Issoufou Mahamadou of the Republic of Niger, currently on a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, emphasised the depth of relations between his country and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in various fields, calling on Saudi business sector to take advantage of the available investment opportunities in many development sectors in Niger, especially energy, agriculture, roads, railways and infrastructure.

He praised the Kingdom’s economic development and its adoption of Vision 2030 to take advantage of its economic and investment resources.

This came during his meeting held here today with Saudi businessmen in Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the presence of the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Engineer Abdurrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli.

President Issoufou Mahamadou also stressed that his country and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have extensive opportunities to raise the volume of trade and investment between them.
