OIC condemns terrorist attack in Bahrain

JEDDAH: The Secretary-General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Iyad Ameen Madani, has strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack in the Kingdom of Bahrain which left three policemen killed while performing their duty. In a statement, while reiterating the OIC’s principled position in condemning all forms and manifestations of terrorism, the Secretary-General emphasised that no reason whatsoever justifies wounding or killing of innocent civilians.

Madani reiterated the OIC’s positive initiatives aimed at achieving the sought after reform project and support for national harmony for the best interests, safety and stability of the Kingdom. He further expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members of the victims.
