During the opening ceremony, Humaid Mohammed Al Qutami, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director-General of the Dubai Health Authority, DHA, said that the international status of Dubai paved the way for a healthy future, enabling the emirate to be the preferred destination for medical tourism.
He said that Dubai aspires to be in first position globally and the DHA is working to achieve this within the framework of its responsibilities and objectives aimed at upgrading the health sector.
Dr. Laila Al Marzouki, Director of Health Regulatory Department at the Authority, noted that the conference aims to present and discuss the latest global developments in the field of medical tourism and the application of quality standards and concepts to improve patient experience.

Alongside the exhibition is a multi-track conference where speakers share their experience and expertise through a dynamic programme covering current issues, as well as cutting-edge innovation.
