President sends condolence cables to King of Malaysia, President of China on victims of Malaysia plane crash

ABU DHABI: President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent the condolences to His Majesty King of Malaysia Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah, on the passengers killed onboard the Malaysian plane crash. Sheikh Khalifa extended his profound sorrow and solace to the King of Malaysia and the bereaved families of the victims.

The plane, which took off from Kuala Lumpur bound to Beijing had 239 passengers onboard, whom 152 were Chinese and others from different 13 nationalities, crashed on the Vietnamese coasts.

The UAE President dispatched similar cable to Chinese President Xi Jinping, expressing his sincere heartfelt condolences and solace to the President of China and the families of the victims.

Meanwhile, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, also sent similar cables to both the King of Malaysia and the President of China.

His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces also dispatched similar condolence cable to the King of Malaysia.
