Qatar Stock Exchange Index Begins Wednesday’s Trading in Green Zone
The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index started trading Wednesday in the green zone, adding 2.05 points, an increase of 0.02%, to reach 10,749 points compared to the end of Tuesday’s trading with the support of four sectors.
QSE data showed an increase in the performance of the consumer goods and services sector by 0.48 percent, the telecommunications sector by 0.23 percent, the real estate sector by 0.14 percent, and the transport sector by 0.04 percent. On the other hand, the bank and financial services sector and the insurance sector fell by 0.14 and 0.74 percent, respectively.
At 10:00 am, QSE recorded 3,177 transactions worth QR 116.027 million, distributed to 55.428 million shares.
