RAHI DURING MONDAY EASTER MASS DEDICATED TO FRANCE: IT IS NECESSARY FOR LEBANON TO RETURN TO ITS NORMAL POSITION IN THE ARAB WORLD

Maronite Patriarch, Cardinal Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi, presided over Easter Monday Mass service in Bkerke dedicated to France, in the presence of French Ambassador to Lebanon, Anne Grillo. “We are praying today for the intention of the French people and their president,” Patriarch Al-Rahi said. The Patriarch continued: “Without interdependence and solidarity, there will be no world after today, nor a life of peace. Today’s economy does not save the world, but rather tears it apart, and peace is built with cooperation and brotherhood.” Al-Rahi stressed that “it is necessary for Lebanon to return to its normal position in the Arab world and on the international map.”
