Saif bin Zayed meets with his counterpart from Saxony

ABU DHABI: H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, yesterday met with Markus Ulbig, Minister of Interior for the German Province of Saxony, and his accompanying delegation, at his office in Abu Dhabi. During the meeting, the two sides discussed a number of issues of common interest and enhancing cooperation between the two sides in the field of police, training and scholarship.

The meeting was attended by Major-General Nasser Lakhraibani Al Nuaimi, Secretary-General of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and a number of senior officers from both sides.

In the framework of the cooperation between the General Command of Abu Dhabi Police and the Ministry of Interior in the Province of Saxony, the German delegation visited the follow-up police department at the Secretariat of H.H. Sheikh Saif and was briefed on the strategy of Abu Dhabi Police and the efforts exerted in order to keep pace with best International standards.

Markus Ulbig stressed the importance of promoting exchanges of visits to take advantage of experiences between the two sides, praising the joint relations in all areas of policing.
