Senate President calls for pan-Arab vision to address economic challenges

President of the Senate Faisal Fayez urged formulating an integrated Arab vision to address the economic challenges of the Arab nation and building pan-Arab cooperation to create diverse economic and investment partnerships. He made the remark during a meeting with Secretary-General of the Council of Arab Economic Unity of the Arab League Ambassador Muhammadi Ahmed Al-Ni, the Egyptian Assistant Minister of Interior for Training Affairs Ashraf Saber, and the President of the Arab Trainers Union Younis Khatiba. The meeting tackled the current Arab economic situation, the challenges of sustainable development, the impact these challenges have on economic growth, poverty and unemployment rates, and the importance of pan-Arab action, through the league, to address these challenges, in addition to the means available to regulate economic relations between Arab countries.
