SUDANESE PRESIDENT MEETS UAE OFFICIALS IN ABU DHABI

ABU DHABI, Feb 25 — Visiting Sudanese President Omer Al-Bashir has met in his current visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with the UAE Deputy President and Prime Minister and Governor of Dubai, Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, and discussed with him ways of consolidating the bilateral relations in all domains.

President Al-Bashir also met with the UAE Crown Prince and Deputy Commander of the Armed Forces, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, and discussed ways of consolidating relations between Sudan and the United Arab Emirates, investment issues as well as issues of mutual concern.

Meanwhile, President Al-Bashir was briefed by the UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, during his participation in the inauguration of the International Defence Fair in Abu Dhabi, on the modern technologies and the electronic services that were adopted by the UAE Ministry of Interior.

President Al-Bashir also visited the Mosque of the late Sheikh Zayed in Abu Dhabi.
