Syrian Democratic forces arrested dozens of Daesh elements in Raqqa

BAGHDAD The Syrian “Democratic Forces” announced the arrest of more than 60 members of the Daesh organization as part of a joint sweep and raids operations carried out on Thursday in the northern city of Raqqa.

The Syrianled “Democratic Forces of Syria”, known as the “Qasd”, confirmed that it had arrested 63 people involved in various terrorist activities as part of a campaign that “targeted the hideouts of terrorists and sleeping cells.”

In a statement, Qasd stressed that these cells are directly responsible for “spreading terror and chaos and spreading strife and unrest” among the people of alRaqqa.
