The death of an inmate in the Hilla Great prison

A source in Hilla Great Prison announced, on Tuesday evening, the death of an inmate, as a result of illness complications.

The source said: “The inmate is a resident of Babylon Governorate, and he is sentenced to life imprisonment because of drug trafficking, and he died in the health center of the prison.”

He added: “The police transferred the body to the forensic medicine office, and an investigation was opened into the accident.”
