The Iraqi army is ranked 34th in the ranking of the most powerful armies in the world

Baghdad The Iraqi army ranked 34th in the ranking of the most powerful armies in the world in terms of military strength, according to statistical and analytical reports for the “Global Fire Power” website, which specializes in military affairs.

 

Egypt advanced in the Middle East ranking over Turkey in the Global Fire Power classification of the world’s most powerful armies for the year 2022, as it ranked 12th, Turkey ranked 13th, and Iran ranked 14th.

 

Saudi Arabia ranked 20th in this classification for the firepower of the armies of the world, bypassing advanced countries such as Canada, Poland, Sweden and South Africa.

 

This ranking placed Algeria in 31st place, while Iraq ranked 34th, the UAE ranked 36th, Syria ranked 47th, Morocco ranked 55th, Kuwait ranked 71st, followed by Libya ranked 72nd, Sudan ranked 73rd, and Tunisia ranked 74th, and Jordan is ranked 75th.

 

Qatar ranked 77th in this classification of the world’s most powerful armies, followed by the Sultanate of Oman in 78th place, while Yemen ranked 80th, and Lebanon ranked 114th.

 

It is noteworthy that this global classification of the most powerful armies is based on more than 50 factors to determine the status of the military power of any country, taking into account the military and financial strength, logistical capabilities and the geographical factor, while nuclear power is not counted in this classification, which depends on the measurement of traditional military power only.
