Trump meets with North Korean leader in the demilitarized zone between the two Koreas

US President Donald Trump met with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in the demilitarized zone between the two Koreas.

“We will talk about a lot of topics and we will get a lot of positive and important things,” Trump said, adding that cutting off the border has made a great deal of my friendship with Kim.

For his part, North Korean President Kim Jong-un said, “We would not have had such a wonderful relationship. We would like to use this meeting to come up with positive news. We want to leave the past and move on to the future.”

US President Donald Trump will meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in the demilitarized zone on the inter-Korean border, South Korean President Mon Jie-en said on Sunday.

“The United States and North Korea are meeting in Panmunjom, for the first time in 66 years after the signing of the Armistice Agreement,” Mon Jie-en told a news conference.
