A thunderbolt caused the death of a 26-year-old man and the amputation of his mother’s leg in the old Wasit district, south of Wasit Governorate.
A source in Wasit Health Department told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that the injured mother was transferred to Martyr Fayrouz Hospital in Al-Hay district, south of the governorate, and she is under medical care.
