Abu Dhabi, The United Arab Emirates announced its intention to set up a field hospital and send a search, rescue team and relief supplies to Syria in order to help it overcome the repercussions of the earthquake.
The Emirates News Agency said that Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan, President of the UAE, instructed to establish a field hospital and send a search and rescue team, in addition to urgent relief supplies to those affected by the earthquake in “the brotherly Syrian Arab Republic”.
The agency added the step comes in the context of relations that bind Syria and the UAE.
